The Principal Counsel

principalOluwemimo Ogunde SAN, the Principal Counsel of The Latter House Chambers is a distinguished gentleman who stands extremely tall in terms of intellect, ability, experience and professional accomplishments. He was called to the Nigerian Bar on 30th July, 1983 and served his pupillage in Gani Fawehinmi’s Chambers up till August 1987. He was in partnership with two other lawyers up till 31st July, 1999 before setting up Wemimo Ogunde & Co.

'Wemimo Ogunde was a past Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Ogun State. During his tenure, he was involved in complex public litigation, public procurement, drafting of executive bills for presentation to the Ogun State House of Assembly, commercial agreements, arbitration amongst other functions. Oluwemimo Ogunde SAN has brought back to the firm considerable experience gathered from public service ranging from regulation of business to policy and strategy.

With a large appetite for writing, he is the author of the book titled "Compassion: the Compass of Life" with several legal articles to his credit. He is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (Ikeja Branch), the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Abiola P. Sanusi

biolaAbiola is a real property expert with outstanding mastery of the courtroom's advocacy. Her ingenious skills of legal drafting and vetting have been deployed in several commercial transactions. Her meticulous disposition and ability to meet deadline are almost unparalleled. Being proactive and with impeccable problem solving skills, her colleagues and clients have found her a delight to talk to. Abiola is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
